‘PUTOOOOOOOOOOO!’ we scream for the last time, as the away teams’ keeper takes the last goal kick before the final whistle blows. Cue a chorus of boos from the home fans, as Veracruz hold the hot favourites America to an eye wateringly dull 0 – 0. So my second Mexican game ends goalless.. again!
After San Miguel I jumped on a coach to Queretaro, already knowing all the hostels were booked up. Luckily i was saved a night on the streets / in a tree / on a roof, last minute by an awesome couchsurfer!
I was pretty tired on the bus from Guanajuato to San Miguel – and they are ridiculously comfortable buses for some reason – completely unlike anything I’ve travelled on before coming to Mexico, and these are classed as Economy. Can only imagine first class comes with some sort of extra services… But alas the bus […]
